About the Job:
As a Water Concierge, you will be responsible for maintaining customer service standards, generating sales, performing housekeeping, merchandising, pricing, cash register operations (POS), and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards. Shifts are approximately 5 hours each, and we are open 6 days a week (closed on Fridays). Business Hours are Monday – Thursday from 10am-7pm and Saturday & Sunday from 10am-6pm. We are looking for a Water Concierge to work 5-6 shifts (about 30 hours) per week, with opening shifts from 9:45-2:35 and closing shifts from 2:25-6/7:16 on weekdays and similar hours on weekends. Paid training starts at $16.385 per hour as of January 1, 2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Loving Customer Service:
- Create an inclusive, warm, welcoming, and purposeful service environment as the first point of contact for our community.
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service by maintaining a pleasant demeanor, strong product knowledge, and joyful and uplifting communication.
- Store Maintenance and Operations:
- Fulfill keyholder responsibilities.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
- Assist with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and daily store housekeeping.
- Product Education and Guidance:
- Confidently communicate the value and benefits of our mineral-rich drinking water, resulting in conversions and meeting monthly sales goals.
- Stay informed about product knowledge, merchandise promotions, and advertisements, and share this information enthusiastically with customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product features, benefits, pricing, and usage.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing your duties, you will:
- Talk and communicate with guests.
- Use hands or fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
- Access all areas of the store, including the selling floor, stock area, and register area.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Require specific vision abilities, including close vision and distance vision.
The work environment is typically low to moderately noisy.
Applicant Experience:
- Key holder: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cashiering: 1 year (Required)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
- Retail Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time (30 hours per week)
Pay: Training starts at $16.85 per hour
